Part of St Helena's Adventure Week 2027, the St Helena Marathon is widely recognised as the most remote road race on the planet — and the course more than lives up to that billing. From the cool, forested highlands down to the wave-hammered Atlantic coastline, every kilometre tells a story.
Ancient lanes, rugged mountain trails, cliff paths with nothing but ocean stretching to the horizon — this is running as it was never meant to be easy.
Whether you line up for the full 42km, the half marathon at 21km, or the 10km, you're not just racing a distance. You're racing a landscape that has shaped history for centuries.
